mass downloader has a massive resource/memory leak when using the “download all” feature… note your used memory, and use that feature w/ about 200 files… you’ll find out that your memory usage has increased by about 100mb… not good!

“black and white” should be out soon… i have to say i’m very much looking forward to that (like about a zillion other people ;)), expecially since alex evans (statix) did the 3d-engine (he’s recently written an interesting article about blurring on gamasutra.com).
found an interesting new media player: sasami2k, which has a beautiful transparent interface, audio equalizer, “nice” subtitle support (not an overlay hack) and plays just about everything!
need to look at http://rachmaninoff.ti.uni-mannheim.de/sampeg/ to check whether that’s any good (recently checked http://www.videolan.org and they seem to know what they are doing); started a bit of testing for ulb (using corner detection) but nothing major yet.
