You can safely start watching “Witch Hunter Robin” at episode #11 and not miss any of the story (well… watch eps #01-02, too – for the introduction). But the story seems to be worth it… As an aside: Why has noone made a Robin-wallpaper of her in that spandex-biking outfit? <nudge> ^_^

Love-Hate
“Hajime no Ippo” is strangely addictive (much like “Initial D”). And that although it’s a sports anime about boxing, which I detest…
Disillusioned
“Gatekeepers 21” is surprisingly good. In fact, it’s excellent (in contrast to the TV series). It’s set 30 years later, still has the “obligatory” schoolgirls, but is much darker and gloomy in feel and concentrates on a much smaller cast of 3 (arguably 4) main characters. It just made my current top-five anime list out of nowhere… ^_^
Mecha Lions
Also finished “Scryed”. Simple, but extremely well-done fighting / mecha series w/ a strong back-story (and no filler episodes… whoah!). Now off to revise for exams… 🙁
Rubbing it in
I ended up having time (not really) to watch the last 4 episodes of “Saishu Heiki Kanojo / She, The Ultimate Weapon” yesterday, and *SPOILER* boy is it depressing. I mean, you pretty much knew from the start that it wasn’t going to end well, but the whole planet destroyed? sniff. Very good series, but emotionally exhausting…
More Sushi
Today, we have our Anime Society Christmas Party / Quiz. Should be good fun (+ nice food!)… ^_^
Paranoid about Fire
The strike of the English firemen is starting to p*ss me off: (I’m not saying they shouldn’t strike, but…) University buildings have been closed after 18:00 and on weekends so that you can’t get any computing work done out of hours, and worst of all, we’ve had to cancel many Anime-Society meetings… We might even have to cancel our end-of-term quiz, if the new strike (from wednesday) goes ahead… 🙁
