some very, very pretty images (cough wallpaper cough) from softmax’ magna carta: magnacarta1.jpg, magnacarta2.jpg and magnacarta3.jpg. now i just need to get my hands on the game… anyone any info?

watched the remastered akira dvd: what a perfect way to celebrate nothing at all.
pissed at strato (again!): this time because the don’t give you your own ip (try ping’ing your domain and then opening that ip-address in your browser w/o using DNS).
convinced martin to go watch “lord of the rings”. although i must say, i was sick of the hype, the film was very, very good (note to self: damn! another 3 dvds to add to my buy list…).
watched hana-bi by Takeshi Kitano yesterday (well… this morning, actually). Excellent, very quiet (and very loud) film w/ good music by Joe Hisaishi, whom i only knew from his contributions to virtually all studio ghibli productions.
/me goes aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
if i see another ad for (or related to) either “lord of the rings” or “christmas” i’m gonna scream…
