I just figured out what’s missing in Episode III (in contrast to Episode II): It is completely unsexy. No hints of sexyness anywhere in Ep. 3.

Porn movies are as readily available as bikinis in a beach. There’s no real need for sexiness in a science fiction movie, especially where the woman gets killed.
There is a difference between a hint of sexyness, and pr0n, you know? And being killed and dying because of missing one’s “eternal love” isn’t quite the same either.
But as you say, it’s just a science fiction movie… It just struck me as one of the strongest (non-obvious) contrasts between Episode II and III.
